Do you have an MKM story to share? Email us with your story (and pictures!) as we aim to feature a story every month

UPDATE: After a few updates to the Gallery, History page and of course the frame register - we'd like to share our next bit of news.

We've recently worked with a UK jersey manufacturer to design as close to a complete replica of a jersey we've found deep in the MKM Cycles archives - take a look below

We've been provided with two fabric options - Superfine 5oz Merino Wool or Airtex (Modern Jersey Fabric). The design will be the same for both with the added option of your name embroidered on the Airtex version.

We're currently looking at interest levels and if you would like more information, or would like to put your name down for either Jersey should they get made - please get in touch with us so that we can discuss further: info@mkmcycles.co.uk

We would like to thank and pay tribute to Robin Hatherall (and his daughter Lucy) who so ably set up and ran the MKM website before handing it over with all the hard work done.

Whilst we are unable to match his knowledge at this stage,we can perhaps match his enthusiasm in keeping the MKM name alive.

This website has been set up to try to trace all existing MKM, Wes Mason, Arthur Metcalfe, Ron Kitching and Steve Elsworth frames built in the 1970s and 1980s.

If you own any of these frames or know anyone who has one, if you visited Arthur or Wes at the Chapel Works, or if you visited Steve at Thorpe Arch Trading Estate at Wetherby, please contact us.

The MKM logos to the left were kindly made available by H Lloyd Cycles: www.hlloydcycles.com
